Yeah the guy is a boss, and his critique of climate libs is probably as much a factor of their not as being easy marks for upsells as mcmansion-dwellers. But the issue is that these are the conditions such as they stand, and they need to be understood as they are. Contractors are going to be putting heat pumps into houses because of the IRA! It matters if they think its a bad bill whether their bad politics and class position is clouding their judgment or not! Everything is culture war and politics but also there should be more room for reporting the on-the-ground reality of people with bratty politics without accusations of complicity.
